Can anyone tell me how having the arcane beast from the ritual spawn on me and chase me and my tribe to the ends of the map, is good for my tribe and bad for the enemy tribe?

The idea is to release it in the swarm of the enemy tribe, the rest of the tribe holding off your enemies while you're vulnerable. You need to find them vulnerable, and prepare a means to escape when the beast has been released. Same as releasing the demon.

The RAB can be good or bad. It simply depends on how well you know its spells and how well you're equipped to fight it. I used to have a very detailed guide on the last forum on how to kill the beast, as well as many tips and tricks. But unfortunately it has been lost when the forum went down. Good news, I am planning to rewrite it here soon. Later in the game it used to be very powerful and hard to kill, but since the boss scaling nerfs it's quite easier to do so now. It's drop is the very powerful spellbreaker armor. It gives 25 stat points (more than any other item in the game) and also has the most powerful passives. Skip to 4 hours and 4 minutes in this video and you will see a perfect example of the beast being a GOOD thing for the tribe that summoned it. The idea was to put the other tribe behind and while they were catching up we would kill the RAB. Skip to 4:04:00
