I had some ideas that place some emphasis on the hunting/trapping aspect of the game, to enhance stealthy gameplay.
Camper's Backpack
Slot: Armor
Crafted At: Workbench
On equip:
4+ Endurance 3+ Dexterity 3+ Willpower
Passive: Increases the number of slots in your backpack by 5.
Passive: Removes material cost of Tents, instead gives Tents a 5 minute cooldown time. Lasts if you take off the Camper's Backpack.
Requires Artisanship 10 to craft
Uses: 3 Lumber 6 Wool 2 Iron Ore
Trickster's Tourmaline Prism
This prism contains a deep flaw, allowing to to refract light in directions previously unknown to most creatures of the forest. Also makes an interesting kaleidoscope.
Crafted at: Smithy
On equip: 4+ Dexterity 3+ Willpower 6+ Intelligence
Passive: Decreases the cooldown of Clairvoyance by 5 seconds.
Passive: Increases your view range by 0.2.
Active: Creates an illusion of an (selected?) item in your inventory and places it on the ground. This clone lasts 2 minutes, and will snare an enemy kobold that tries to pick it up, stunning them for (0.1*Willpower) seconds, and dealing (1.25*Willpower) damage. (Emphasizes the most expensive item in your inventory that is not equipped.)
Requires Artisanship 15 to Craft
3 Radiant Gem 1 Celestial Orb 1 Spicy Herb

Indeed a backpack might be a good idea. Not sure about the size, since it's not a multiple of 4 it might look weird on the ui. Would 8 be too strong? Also, if the 5 minutes cooldown is for all tents, it makes it pretty detrimental in general. 1 luber and a wool/leather aren't worth being unable to build tents for 5 minutes, so maybe have the free tent only to have a cd, or think of another passive..
The prism seems funny, thought early on there are rarely any dropped resources on the ground so noone might fall for it. The rooting part seems hard to use , unless the opponent is super greedy and tries to pick up objects while he has an enemy kobold on the screen, you will need to stay out of range, wait for him to get trapped, so unless the duration is really long it will not do a lot i think

What if the Camper's Backpack removed the stone and wool costs of all buildings while equipped?
