A lot of the time, the reason why beginning kobolds fail to understand the potential of KT is because they lack a plan. Of course, veterans and master kobolds all have their own specific builds and follow through's. What's yours? People want to know, share your builds here, share your knowledge, share the power! And of course learn, too.
Thanks, Broot

It might be helpful if everyone puts the current patch number in his title, because every patch changes the meta.

I feel the best single piece of advice I could give to players, especially regarding builds, is to not just a build. Of course you should experiment, polish, and perfect builds; gear, skills, play styles, etc. all working together. But I think if you limit yourself to just one build that you've really gotten down, you are not only limiting yourself, but limiting the fun you're probably going to have playing, and your contribution to your team. So my advice is this:
Play as dynamic as possible.
Now, that doesn't mean don't ever go in without a plan, for sure. What I mean by that is, change your play style as much as you are comfortable/experienced with to take advantage of your situation. Evolve as you go, all depending upon your current situation, including things like: what resources you start near, being probably the most obvious one. Find yourself surrounded by Elder Trees and Gold Deposits? Take advantage of it. If your build doesn't include items crafted with Infused Lumber, or whatever, consider changing that. Have several builds in mind that work best in different situations. If you feel the odds have been stacked against you, play more defensively, stay just a little closer together than you would normally. Or sometimes the opposite happens, you find yourself without any rare resources nearby, maybe ones you need for your build. Keep this in mind: One really quick way to get yourself killed is to waste a huge amount of time looking for a resource that you feel your build is dependent upon. Because while you're maybe running around for a whole day looking for a stag for that Warlock's Vestments, remember, the other tribe is likely spending that whole time progressing, and you have nothing to show for it. And, if you want to get technical, if you're having a hard time finding rare resources near you, that does mean there is a higher chance that that's because those rare nodes are closer to your enemy. Which is not good for you!
This also goes for quests, especially those that increase your skills. Did you or somebody on your team Build Lorenor's Monument and get 5 extra art? Look at what you have, what's around you, etc, and consider making use of that extra tier of gear you can now craft. If you find yourself in possession of some bitchin' quest items, say Frost Needle or Murloc Doomhammer; these are items that you can focus an entire build on. Don't waste them by combining them with items that won't potentiate their lethality.
tldr; Gather as much valuable shit as fast as you can. Evolve your build depending on what shit you can find as fast as possible.

Having a team is the only exploit you need.
Nothing is going to piss you off like 3/5 of the members of your tribe running in for a stickrush while one guy decides he's going to be the team chef and another insists he needs to "gear up" first.
Uncoordinated games are infuriating, and are why we need more clans and tourneys. If each person is more concerned with getting whatever their next item is rather than achieving a team objective, they are not helping their tribe as well as they could be.

Which is not good for you! This probably isn't case anymore, due to the recent change of the quadrant resource mapping.

Uncoordinated games are infuriating, and are why we need more clans and tourneys. If each person is more concerned with getting whatever their next item is rather than achieving a team objective, they are not helping their tribe as well as they could be. This is usually a problem of crappy or no leadership. "Crappy" = everyone thinking s/he's the decision maker, and that the rest of the tribe should be strategizing around him/her. Got what it takes to inspire and lead your tribe to victory? Better make that clear in the lobby, and get agreement from your allies... Since it takes a lot more than bull-headed bossing around to synergize a group, better make sure you're the one who best knows the respective strengths and weaknesses of your fellow tribesmen. And for those who don't want to take responsibility for others' mistakes, best you be a good strong supporter of the one(s) who actually have the girth to bear the weight of making decisions for the tribe. A good follower has to be highly skilled in adapting to whatever circumstance the lead throws them into. No role in the team objective is any less important than another. Otherwise there's always FFA.

Is ranged taming intended? If you shoot tame able animal and switch weapon for rod you can tame it. I don't know if this trick can affect other on hit effects. (like stealing food).
