In the new version, two potions has been added by broot. More fun in the game. In the future patch, we will have problem to add more potions. There are only three space left. The cooking menu would become messy with new potions (before, cooking dish with the same primary ingredient were put together on each column). So, we should divide cooking in two menu, one for food, one for potions.
The first and simplest solution is to add a advanced menu. But the UI would become rather complex, especially to divide again the cooking menu later (if we add more food options). But the main question is: do we really need cooking in the kobold menu?
I think I can use the opportunity to make arguments against cooking in the kobold menu. You can only cook near a campfire. You rarely use cooking in a emergency situation. In life-threatening situation, you better buy the Roasted Lamb at the tavern, because you would be dead when your cooking is finished. And last, the amount of action we could add to our kobold are limited, there are surely better things than a cooking menu. IMHO, we should move cooking at the campfire.
And I have a good idea for the campfire: the Magic Cauldron.
Magic Cauldron Upgrade for the campfire. Cost: 1 iron and 1 shadowstone
With this upgrade, cooking potions will need more investment. You will not replenish your potions with just a campfire. I love the idea to add more building upgrade. That make your primary base more important.

Now we have only two space left. And dish are not anymore lined up by primary ingredient.

This has been considered already, at least the UI part. The only immediate issues I have with it, is having to re-write some AI lines. But eventually this will have to happen.
