So, this is my first suggestion for an item. I apologize if it is incomplete or requires additional information.
Razorwire Sheath
A magical sheath made from razorwire from the astral planes, this cloak is used by the most experienced of Kobold thieves to raid merchant camps undetected.
Slot: Armor
On equip:
3+ Dexterity 3+ Endurance
Passive: You move 10% faster.
Passive: Shadow Cloak costs 25% less energy to initially cast.
Active: For the next 15 seconds, all items you pick up will go to the nearest storage outpost owned by you instead of your inventory. Has no effect if you own no storage outposts.
Requires Artisanship 10 to craft
Crafted at Workbench
Crafting Ingredients
2 Iron Ore
1 Shadowstone
1 Skeletal Finger OR Orb of Darkness
I'm not sure if I'm missing anything, but here's the gist of it. Intended to be an armor for Rouges.

This is a very interesting idea, except the skeletal finger/orb of darkness requirement is a little unclear to me. This means that the item won't be initially available.
Edit: I just realized that Shadow Cloak is capable of nuking. But if this is meant for gathering/stealing as well, it might be need to available early game.

I figured it would be most useful for looting enemy corpses completely without cluttering your inventory. If you see something that could be edited, let me know so I can change it.

I like the idea that it costs skeletal fingers/orbs, limiting its availability. I think however it should have a nerf on health/strength/damage to make a true "thief" class, otherwise the potential for destroying storage outposts, or quickly stealing everything from quests/corpses is just a little too powerful in my opinion. But I think making it reduce armor, endurance or attack damage, would make it more of a gamble to use

Yes, but think of the availability of the armor. It just isn't practical to craft early on.
What if potions revealed cloaked enemies on hit?
Perhaps I could make the Active ability 5 or 10 seconds instead of 15, 15 is kinda long. How about a 60 second cooldown?

It's still the fact that you are that much faster, even without your shadow cloak, you'd be able to outrun pretty much everyone, escpecially since you could activate shadow cloak that often. Its avaliability is a handicap, yes, but even if you get it, it is quite "OP"

I have to agree with goldenchicken, the speed bonus is pretty strong, together with the reduced cloak cost it would be nearly impossible to catch you if you have some way to regain stamina (high forestry, artisanship or mineral rush). Also beeing able to "teleport" items to a nearby storage outpost would rather fit to a scavenger than a thief (and I also don´t think such an effect would be healthy for the game); so while I like the idea of a rogue-oriented armor, I don´t think this is the right approach.
