I remember adding this a couple weeks ago, but forgetting to show it to the public. The wiki now has a new section, called the 'Guides'. While it's incomplete, I think it'll offer a good insight on learning the basics of KT. Obviously more skilled players will take away less from it, but maybe you learn a thing or two as well. There are a few pages I haven't finished, as well as some more advanced articles to add - but hopefully any newer players wanting to learn KT will find it helpful. KT Guides

I am very impressed with the upkeep on the wiki, although along with my OCD I test the information against it every update and notice a few minor errors. (Such as misspellings and/or incorrect pictures/labels on craft-ables, etc.) I would love to help with the upkeep. Those new guides are beautiful by the way.

Win 1vs7 ai = you can play with a normal players. Newbies should train themselv on bots, cuz bots are not very silly, and they are normal enimies, for noobs , but when you play 1vs7 and more ai, it is not very easy, cuz they can attack you by all the count of their tribe. Before i started play KT with players, i played much with bots, upped my lvl, upped some my skill, then, when i started to play with players, i tryed to do a kind of Support build (golden hauberk+celestial orb+demonward) and support my team, by resping teammates, healing them, and doing some dmg, healing and resping often support much, sometimes players can correct their tactic and win game(Dont think that it is silly build, it was not KT new, it was old KT, without any normal build of supporter). I think that all newbies should do ranged builds, cuz it is more easy for them and they have less chance to die in a battle (-1% from 99%).

I agree building up experience facing against the AI, its notably on the new version a lot of people think its harder then old as its a odd learning curve so people placed up harsh reviews and when enough were posted (mostly by people who dislike the games style of play, even since the original game), to this it wasn't such a case, the game is prity easily figured out, playing 5 or 6 bot games after playing the tutorial which was updated since the old version (btw whomever did that, thank you, the update to catching stags using berries was a NICE feature to include for those who don't usually run a ranged build) I primarily play off as the team constructor and either a battle-mage (melee caster), a caster/healer, or sniper type physical dmg (mostly the last one). Its possible with coordination to away from AI play like me and my friend have, by night 1 we have a moderate base (Cause having a good location can make the difference to numbers or even make a fight better for your team). For example of this I remember in old KT we used to have it down so nicely that I would be able to place down a forge, workbench, outpost, 3 farms, and a fire, my buddy would then throw down a tavern, following this before day 2 we averaged out to having a buckler, wool armor, and while he had the starter pick I went with the blunderbuss, when people usually rush its past the first night, so its surprising what resource management and time management can pull off. A really awesome tip it helping those who read this, dont be afraid to use palisades, it keeps the wolves from mulching your face, and incoming enemy ranged attacks have there damage reduced, sometimes you can even place a full set about 2 thick of palisades and it counters a character build like the one I play on average. Artesians have a bigger standing after all the gear is made now, as they can have mobile turrets, and even a variety of traps to plan a escape route or plan a cut off to an escape route. you can even create special scenarios if your creative enough with how it works. Before artesians were only able to build gear then they fell off cause there damage was more limited cause they had to design a build that would assist the team while also producing himself a fair peice of gear so he wasn't a weak link in the team (not really easy unless you build for tank, which even then I'm not great with tanking), if you have a good artesian in your team you can have more flexibility with your build, for example in KT new, you can run Forestry with the artesian, this combo allows you to have flexibility enough to build a decent support build (as trees Regen health and small mana over duration, added to a healer build and used correctly you can use it to heal people threw most brutal beatings) and the artesians part allows for there buildings to hold up better, I constantly do the event to heal the mage just by building a palisade, and use the celestial orb to complete it (I haven't had the chance to play against players, and bots don't usually challenge this one when I play against them) so this is just one way to do things. My friend uses his skills off mine, he builds for damage while going with attack speed, both of these can come from forestry and mining, he can detect invisible people for a duration in a cone hes facing and even add his miner bonus to make it almost impossible to run away from him, its mighty broken...lol
