These items have become annoying to me in the game. They are quite cheesy I choose to not play with them personally in public KT games, especially Parapet with the right build, melee DPS kills opponents trapped inside too consistently, it kills the fun for me. 20 minutes of sweet build up to non epic 1 eating cooldown bashdown or turret/trap pull insta gib is not by definition fun or cool feature of KT. I do love to have different play styles though and lots of different items, so instead of wishing these item's didnt exist I just simply wish they weren't as consistent at what they do (kill fun by killing kobolds too consistently and without a good fight)
Parapet Input: IMO, make doors open at spawn, forcing user to close them manually, giving target player a window of time to react to and escape. Also gives the user a skill twitch component to master before gaining full effectivity of item
Zephyrs Input: IMO, make radius of pickup smaller and increase reaction time for target by a few hunderd milliseconds before tornado activates

Like the ideas you are absolutely right that at the moment there is not much time to react. Parapet is however easier to deal with so long as you can keep the enemy away from you, zephyr however has a ridiculous range and little to no time, making it impossible to escape from it on pathways and other closed terrain unless you are on open space. The other problem with zephyr is that you can get other speed items and pull kobolds insane distances, and with proper gear swapping you can combine it with parapet to trap the enemy.
Suggest:
Zephyr: Less pickup radius and more time before tornado begins to move
Parapet: Palisades can be destroyed by just 1 hit from the inside, because the death animation of buildings is quite long. Or potentially make it easier to escape when it is used in the first place.
In the case that these two items are nerfed, i would also like skirmishers harness nerfed, currently the only reason i use it is because the broken invincibility active is the only counter to these absurd CC actives

Thanks for the input guys, I know they are a bit annoying atm. I will be looking into this and making sure they get a good compromise. I'm currently working on a giant update, re-texturing the map and etc..
