So... I don´t know if you are new to the KT community or if we just never met ingame before (in that case I guess the title doesn´t really fit...), but I want to sincerely thank you - and Seitan, who did, as far as I know, help you fixing all the stuff - for reviving my favourite game of all times. I honestly didn´t have much hope, especially after the forum got deleted; and with Qancakes ignoring everyone even on skype I had no idea what to do. So again: THANK YOU!! I also love that you are willing to continue patching. I always loved to think about improvements and new content for KT, which results in the roughly 50 pages of suggestions I have on my Laptop currently ^^ I wanted to wait for Qancakes "return" to post something so it doesn´t get lost in the deep, dark archive of the old forum, but since that never happened... well, I will try to hold myself back and not post everything at once to give you a chance to read it Oh and... as you might or might not know, I have some experience with 3D modelling (an example for that is to be found in form of the fortress model in KT), so if you need a 3D model for some future content and you can´t find anything in the Blizzard asset library, feel free to ask. I can´t promise much, especially if it comes to creatures and animations, but I will try my best

:> Wow this comes as a huge surprise, someone who can model within the community.
Awesome, just one thing though; Can you export wow models to m3, bake maps, create textures - stuff like that? I can't because 3ds max 2011 is no longer available to the public and SC2 art tools plugins are made specifically for the version. I do have some weapons, off hands equipments from public resources - but can't get other things like particle effects, shoulders, hats, and etc... And there are some very specific things I'm looking for from the wow assets. *wink*
PS - Your sooo welcom!!

Damn, I was hoping you might know how to import the models. Until now, Qancakes was responsible for every step after Blender, I sent him the model as object file and he imported it to 3D Max and so on. I had the same problem as you back then, I only have the 2015 version of 3D max and can´t find the 2011 version either and after searching a bit more now it seems to be impossible to get anything older than the 2013 version thanks to the [insert favorite insult] policy of Autodesk -.- here´s a plugin that apparently makes it possible to use 3D max 2012 as well, in case you can find this version somewhere (I didn´t)... Maybe Seitan has the 2011 version of 3d max? That´s my last hope, even though I don´t think he has much to do with importing models, as far as I know he only uses the galaxy editor.

We'll figure something out don't worry - there's always a work around.
