I think that would be really boring to watch, because there's no chance for comebacks nor for advanced strategies. The first fight will almost always decide the game.

Well if you just want to have fun playing you can play 1v1 at any time, just ask around, I'm sure there are others who would 1v1 you. I have to disagree though, tournaments are almost always meant to be fun to watch rather than just fun to play.
